Chris Balsley PCC Somatic Trainer

Chris Balsley maintains a thriving and diverse professional coaching practice with thirty years of outstanding experience in supporting his clients. Focusing on inspiring professionals to be the best leaders they can be, especially in the face of adversity, Chris dedicates a large portion of his career to helping individuals and teams increase their performance and shift their moods intentionally. He accomplishes this by teaching them how to mitigate the effects of workplace stress, by training them how to listen and speak more powerfully, and by demonstrating to them the connection between leadership and the human body.

He has been with Newfield Networks coach training program as a senior leader since 2005. He has worked with Newfield internationally where he presents and teaches coaching in both English and Spanish to international and multi-cultural audiences. He has been a lead somatic trainer for Newfield Asia since 2010.

When he is not teaching others how to coach, Chris coaches leaders at all levels of organizations from C-suite to mid-level managers in multi-national corporations, fortune 100 companies and in the military. He holds certifications in the Leadership Circle 360° Profile and in Agile program management.

Additionally, Chris is a former senior presenter and executive coach providing training for Magis Group LLC from 2009-2011. These training services include military units deploying to and returning from Afghanistan and Iraq in which over 10,000 soldiers were trained. He is also a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

His latest accomplishment is the publishing of his first hard-back book: “Stop Controlling, Start Leading. 27 Secrets for Effective Leadership at Work, Home and Play”. In this book Chris lays out powerful and simple leadership concepts, tools and stories from emotional, physical and linguistic perspectives. http://www.freegiftfromchris.com
